Splice. Mostly the same as the TV series 'Chimera' that was on TV over here in the 90s, only a bit more racy. Few fun twists towards the end but mostly pretty predictable the rest of the way through.

Ok, yeah. That is kinda hot.

Excellent film, that Thumbs up

I just watched 2001- A Space Odyssey first time I've sat through it in one sitting. Excellent film, great cinematography & fantastic effects for its day, music's a bit dated when he's travelling through time, but watching it on blu ray was excellent. 8.5/10

Welcome to my breakdown. I hope I didn't scare you.

Clash of the titans (the remake)

Predictable, pretty weak script, looked pretty in areas but the whole film seemed to be a rush from monster to monster. I still managed to get to the end without turning it off though

4/10

Saw it at the pictures in 3D - total waste of time & money. I was thinking maybe it'd be better without the 3D but it would appear not!

I watched 2 films last night.

Kick Ass - I was almost forced against my own better judgement to watch this by my teenage son but was pleasantly surprised, it much better than I anticipated. The film was very funny in places, I loved the brutality dished out by the little girl superhero. Not a bad way to kill a couple of hours.

Oil City Confidential - As I am from Essex and a big music fan I am a little embarrassed that it has taken me so long to watch this. The film is a rockumentary about the rise and fall of Canvey Island blues band Dr Feelgood. A really enjoyable film and a must see for anybody interested in the puck movement as they really were its forerunners.
