Stone Roses: Made of Stone
Excellent documentary which was filmed to coincide with their come-back gigs. As well as covering their rehearsals and warm up gigs for the Heaton Park concerts it also covers the band's history.
With great behind the scenes coverage and Shane Meadows at the helm (This is England, Dead Man's Shoes, Somer's Town) it's a great document on Manchester's seminal band.
9/10
I thought the warm up gig and run up to that was very good but felt like the band could not be arsed with the doc once they had there breakdown on the euro gigs.

haha yeah, I think they had had enough, in fact Meadows even said after the Amsterdam gig after Reni had stormed off before the encore that the last thing the band would want is a camera thrust in their faces.
After that it pretty much went on to and ended with that awesome live version of Fool's Gold.
I'm not too keen on that track, just seems to go on and on a bit too long but that live version was amazing.

Sin City 2 - A Dame to Kill For
Enjoyable graphic novel romp, really well made but not as good as the first one.
Still, gets an eight out of ten from me.
I saw it too. The original would get an 8. This one was nowhere near as good for me. Perhaps a 6.5. I thought both Manute and Dwight were both shoddily portrayed.
