Do you mean to say that never happens in any other venue?

No, not that i have been to. Well ok the whole fukd people walking into you thing, of course, but jus felt i had to vent that one out as it annoyed the hell out of me last time, although granted its happened at the fridge and of course other venues

How ever the litter all over the floor etc, no, i havent witnessed this to such a degree in a club for ages. The academy is always untidy and just minging, sitting down on chewing gum tripping on beer cans , peoples bags jus dumped in the middle of the floor etc..

Love it for gigs.

Never been to a club night there, and don't think I want to.

I love Heartbeat the academy!
I love the foyer because its more personal than the main room, i love the two sets of steps leading up the sides, I love how big it is because there's no where like that where i live and it's not big enough to get lost in once you've been there once.
I love the main room and dancefloor and all the seats are brilliant for a sit-down because you can still enjoy whatever is on stage at the time.
Most of all i love it because of memories of one of the first big raves i went to and Hardhouse academy.
I think it's a great venue and i'm really looking forward to Supernova this weekend.Hyper!

I only been there once for hha few months ago, I thought it was blinding. Maybe a bit too big so u lose people, but I dont mind that cos I'm always going on a random mission.

The only thing last time was the main room didnt seem full enough to have proper atmosphere, but the upstairs seat bit that looks like a cinema I though was very atmospheric looking down on main room!

Couldn't really complain about anything else, although I was freeeeeeeezing in the foyer bit.

Its up there with my top 3 venues, although Hidden and the fridge always my favourites. But I hate the shabby maze that is SEONE!!! Yuck And turnmills is Thumbs Down people that go there are non-cyber and pretentious like ooooooooh look at me and not friendly!! Bangs Head

trust no-one

I know people either hate or love the acadmey and even though i love it i don't think a night really has to be all bad because of where it takes place...I can't really think of a venue i really don't like.Scratches Chin
