Before 2014 faded into a distant memory, we asked HarderFaster members to look back and tell us who, what, when and where made their year, whether that be for good or bad reasons.
At your request, this year’s poll was extended to give everyone a chance to have their say, and it was worth the wait as your votes continue to demonstrate the usual wit and wisdom with various members managing a mention for festival and, establishing recent tradition, kerb attracting interest in every category.
And as we’ve commented over the past few years, you have pretty diverse and eclectic tastes so we’ll continue to award top honours to those who were clearly in the lead and honourable mentions to those who were near the top or where there’s no clear winner.
Clubs
HarderFaster Club Night of the Year 2014 Which was the best overall promotion of the year?
Winner: Lost Dawn
Lost Dawn retain the Club Night crown, and with their annual summer festival featuring such a diverse range of music, plus arts and entertainment, it’s no surprise this has become a firm favourite in the HarderFaster clubbing calendar.
Honourable mention goes to Bioshokk.
HarderFaster After Party of the Year 2014 If the night is just not enough then this is where you'll be, and 2014 continued the recent trend - you’d rather be at a crack-on than a formal event when it comes to afters.
Honourable mentions go to Twist and Jaded.
HarderFaster Day Party of the Year 2014 Don't fancy a late night? This is the daytime party where it's all happening.
Winner: Lost Dawn
Lost Dawn were the clear winners in 2014 with their Soundgarden summer festival delivering on all fronts!
HarderFaster Xmas Party receives the usual honourable mention, thanks to everyone who supported us.

Winner: DanceLoveHub
DanceLoveHub received further praise from you, taking top spot in 2014.
HarderFaster Festival of the Year 2014 What was your favourite festival of 2014?
Winner: Boom Festival
Boom takes top spot as festival of choice in 2014, with London’s SW4 and Glastonbury receiving honourable mentions.
HarderFaster Venue of the Year 2014 What was your favourite clubbing venue in 2014?
Winner: Club 414.
Club 414 lifts the cup again, with HarderFaster’s Xmas Party home, Union receiving an honourable mention.
HarderFaster New Venue of the Year 2014 What was your favourite new venue in 2014?
Voting was so varied in this category we couldn’t pick a winner, but POW Live and Tobacco Dock both attracted attention and receive honourable mentions.

Another trend continues with votes being divided in these categories so we’ll continue to award prizes where there’s a clear winner, and mentions to the cream of the crop.
HarderFaster Tune of the Year 2014
Everyone seemed to have their own favourites in 2014 so no clear winners this year.
That said, the poll wouldn’t be complete without BK – Revolution and there are those of you who still love it!

Maceo Plex and Nutty T share top spot, with many more mentions than we have room to list.

Another varied mix, but interesting you haven’t gone for big names this year with Andy Force, Champa and Latex Zebra all getting your attention.

HarderFaster Resident DJ of the Year 2014 Which resident DJ at which club made it their own in 2014?
Adam Symbiosis and fellow Lost Dawn resident Craig Gunn keep their crown.

Hard to make a selection, but Adam Symbiosis, Craig Gunn and Latex Zebra all received praise for their sets at the HarderFaster Xmas Party.

Skaramanga is the man to keep up with when it comes to partying but rumour has it he’s hanging up his multi-colour trainers so it’s all to play for in 2015.

HarderFaster Smoothest Operator of the Year 2014 Who was HarderFaster's smoothest operator during 2014?
Winner: kerb
Kerb polished his rough edges and shines as HarderFaster’s smooth operator, knocking resident Donnie into second place with an honourable mention. Keep an eye on Slink., who’s racing up the smooth pole.
HarderFaster The Dark Side of the Year 2014 Which HarderFaster member did you love to hate in 2014?
3radical keeps the Dark Side top spot in the first of a trio of dark wins.
HarderFaster Flounce of the Year 2014 Who performed the best 3-point flounce in the year?
