Mayan calendars have predicted it. Planets are realigning to create a new constellation. The poles will shift and the very earth we stand on will be rocked to the core. Is this the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning? It's Kerfuffles thirteenth New Year's All-dayer, so who cares? Lucky for some.
Line Up -
Harri (Sub Club)
A record breaking 20 year residency at the Sub Club first with Slam and Soma, then Domenic Cappello and Subculture. A 5 year London residency with Kenny Hawkes at Plastic People. Voted one of the world's top 100 DJ's for two years running. AKA The PaPa Washington Trio, Daddy's Favourite, H Foundation and the composer behind the theme for the T.V series Queer as Folk. Ladies and gentlemen we present the living legend that is HARRI!
Grant Dell (Tribalation, Uhuru Beats)
One of the founders of and defining influences behind the genre. Grant is the very spirit of Tech House. His low slung rolling basslines and innate sense of swing pay homage to his dub roots but his influences reach so much further. Grant has produced so many classics on Pancake, Cove, Rescue, Nightshift, Tango, Detour, he's virtually a one man Kerfuffle jukebox.
Nick Dare (Reform Recordings)
Ormonds, Villa Stefano, Bagley's, Soundshaft, Club UK, Leisure Lounge, Velvet Underground and the Gardening Club - he's played them all. His label is Reform Recordings but you may have heard his releases on Lost My Dog, Wiggle, Tall House, Tango, Detour or Deepology. His residency for Prologue celebrated its 10th birthday at Fabric this year. Nick also hosts Brick City House show for Chicago House FM.
Derrick Patterson (Pendragon)
From the 80s pirate radio station Faze 1 with Colin Dale Fabio & Grooverider to his days with Red Records and Release the Groove. Derrick has a love and knowledge of great music that spans generations. He plays from the heart and the energy he stirs up whenever he plays always touches the soul.
Justin Cookie (Stirfried Frequency)
He's run Bendeleg parties, held residencies at Turnmills, Hidden and La Manga in Spain. He's been running beach parties in Dorset. Next year his live dance band the Stirfried Frequency are booked to play Bestival. Cookie's syncopated rhythms will get all our legs bending.
Dave Miller (Spaceheadz)
Dave started with at Birmingham's Que Club with Marshall Jefferson. He's played Planet, with Eddie 'Flashin' Fowlkes. He's also co-founder of Headspace, the man behind Envy and has done his Ibiza duties at Vive, Zuka and the Savanah Beach Club. Now one half of Spaceheadz, he's remixing with Colin Dale.
Neil Holmes (Finland)
Back from the frozen North to drop some chunky tech-house basslines and deep house vibes. He's the former resident of Deepdown, Mi Casa Su Casa and All Things Nice and someone who's stayed with us through thick and thin.
