With the summer now in full swing British style, The Gallery continues to do its bit for British Tourism by scouring the globe and inviting the biggest and best talent from the corners to come and do their thing at the world famous Ministry of Sound. The beginning of the month is no exception as we welcome globe trotter Satoshi Tommie to lead an all-star cast on Friday 6th June including Nick Warren and Dave Seaman all making their Gallery debuts in the impressive arena that is MOS’ Box room.
Satoshi continues to be one of those DJs never failing to dazzle and amaze crowds the world over with his cutting edge electronic beats and running seminal label SAW recordings also adds the world’s leading DJs to his long list of fans. With a forthcoming Renaissance CD and continuing to collect more air miles than nearly any other DJ out there, it’s a rare honour indeed when Satoshi drops into The Gallery and we’re delighted that he kicks our month off with the inevitable dancefloor madness that he will bring to proceedings. One of the UK’s finest exports and legend Nick Warren returns to his London base to fire another main room set in his worldwide tried and tested style. As one of the progressive heavyweights Nick has a huge and loyal fanbase won over many years of refining his sound. See him in his element in the Ministry of Sound Box with that amazing sound system with his array of head down, driving, tribal beats, it promises to be a truly memorable experience. Another one of The Gallery legends who continues to be at the forefront is the man that calls himself Dave Seaman. A prog pioneer and all round nice chap, Dave has been touring the world including his much talked about appearance at Glastonbury and his continued record label success with Audiotherapy. A regular at Gallery for years, those who’ve never had the pleasure will soon realise why! Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel gets all deep and mysterious on the warm up early doors to set the tone for the night ahead.
The Bar welcomes a plethora of new talent to take up the controls and show us their stuff. Headlined by the talent that is Steve Porter he will no doubt be giving us a taste of the Porterhouse sound that has won him a legion of fans and A-list DJs from Sasha to Paul van Dyk. Truly one to watch and surely the next big thing Steve is leading an all star cast of new talent which also includes Stel. A regular on Dave Seaman’s Audiotherapy label and a producer supported across the board he is joined by one of Bedrocks major talents in the shape of Neil Quigley. One of Digweed’s favourites, Neil is a regular fixture on heavy line-ups around the world as well as being the resident for Bedrock’s legendary Thursday night sessions here in London. The warm up is expertly provided by Carl Longman, whilst Do You Like It Dirty return to host the Baby Box and Krakajax take over the Lounge.
