There are 200 advanced paying guestlist places priced £3 each. These can be obtained by emailing your name(s) to payingguestlist@cyclonedance.com. On the night it will be £3 before 10.30pm and £5 after. To gain entry you MUST have a valid NUS card or USSU Affinity card. However, up to 2 non-NUS people can be signed in by an NUS member.

Cyclone returns to the main Rubix at the University of Surrey on Saturday 8th October. This time round the residents will be on hand to supply a mixture of tunes to fire up what will be one large party. It is amazing to think that it will be almost a year since cyclone’s debut in the main Rubix when superstar DJ Rob Tissera starred as part of the Nukleuz Hard Dance Anthems Tour. That event put cyclone on the map and it is testament to the efforts of the team that things are still going strong.
This particular event will see some firsts as cyclone strive to create a new vibe for every event staged:
1) Ben Davis’ first funky techno set on the main stage and from memory this could be the first ever set of that particular genre in the main Rubix.
2) Trance boys The Set Blaggers will be around for the first time to see if they can ‘blag’ a set. Early indications suggest they may have a trick or two up their sleeve.
3) The end of the night will see an all out Italian affair hard dance style as USSU Dance Music Society president Alex Pizzoferro goes head to head for the first time with cyclone’s first lady of dance Navella Caretto (aka Horny Gnome).
So if you are up for a wild night the main Rubix is the place to be on Saturday 8th October 2005!
