Anti-PoP is proud to present the long awaited DEBUT of EXTRAWELT live performance in Ireland! It has been a long time since we have had this in the cooking (since ADE 2014) and has always been a dream to bring them to Ireland for a full LIVE. At this party we have decided to keep things interesting and have a friendly battle of the sexes with them guys all playing upstairs in the LIVE ROOM and them girls playing downstairs at the BASEMENT. Go with the flow, love what you listen and feel the vibe of the night! Tickets available now at ResidentAdvisor for this indoor mini-fest!

More about them...

♫♪♫♪ EXTRAWELT - Live Performance
(Cocoon Recordings / Unbound / Germany)

Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe have been engaged in electronic music since the beginning of the '90s and they still continue succeeding in maxing out this music‘s latitude, shaping their very own and unique style that can hardly be assigned to one of the established subcategories of modern electronic dance music. Initially, the two started touring worldwide as DJs, and later on established the projects 'Midimiliz', 'Spirallianz', 'The Delta' and 'Downhill', which all have gained remarkable success in the scene. Their breakthrough as Extrawelt came in 2005. James Holden released the first Extrawelt single on his label Border Community, kicking off a matchless wave of success that lasts until today. The readers of the two most renowned magazines for electronic music in Germany, 'Groove' and 'Raveline' voted their album "Schöne Neue Extrawelt" Best Album 2008; besides that, they also have been voted Best Live Act 2008 in 'Groove' magazine. Their second album „In Aufruhr“ came out in 2011 on Cocoon Recordings and was equally high acclaimed as their debut. Youtube clips of their tracks exceed the million clicks easily, their Facebook page likes are in the hundred thousands. Reader’s poll of the „Faze“, Germany’s magazine with the highest circulation voted them again on the pole position in the category Best Live Act in 2014. Countless records and remixes sold as well as equally countless live gigs in the best clubs and festivals worldwide from New York via Berlin to Tokyo, Rio and Moscow speak a clear language: Extrawelt are reaching their audience despite – or probably just because of – their obstinacy. In spite of their huge success, the two have – typically Hanseatic – always kept their feet on the ground.

♫♪♫♪ DANSOR
(Comport Records / Netherlands / Hungary)
https://soundcloud.com/dansor

Anett Kulcsar AKA Dansor is a woman on the rise. Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, she moved to the Netherlands in 1997 – a switch that would play a significant role in intensifying her relationship with all things house and techno. A multifaceted DJ, producer, live act and visual designer, Dansor is also the brains behind the burgeoning Comport Records, an independent label that’s making quite the name for itself in underground circles.

With Hungary’s ‘underground’ gathering pace years later, Dansor threw herself into the scene, with electronic acts such as Art Of Noise, Leftfield, Front 242 and clubs such as “Feketelyuk” (Black Hole) and “Zöldség-Gyümölcs” (Fruits and Vegetables) all playing a formative role in the honing of her musical inclinations. With Budapest undergoing this cultural renaissance of sorts, acid house parties soon began to spring up across the city (and goa-trance parties around the whole country), both of which proved another rich source of inspiration for the music hungry teenager. But with the country’s economic situation still bleak, she made her way to the Netherlands in search of a new lease of life.

♫♪♫♪ OneKnown
(Champion Sound Music / Ireland)
https://soundcloud.com/oneknownmusic

OneKnown is the new solo project by Chris Hanna (formerly of UNKNWN fame) and he has just released a new full length compilation on the 1st of Dec 2014, taking a look back at the past releases of OneKnown (formerly of UNKNWN). Including all of the first EPs under his first alias of Unknown, previously only available to buy on 12” Vinyl. Including the new track 'JST BKZ' the compilation includes '#001' which was licensed to Jon Talabot's DJ-Kicks mix compilation release. Think of grimier and harder hitting version of Burial or Four Tet, with deep esoteric soundscapes and you’ll start to get the idea.

He is signed to Elastic Artists booking agency and DJs regularly as OneKnown and as Chris Hanna, recently featuring at a DJMag Sessions weekend in London alongside Ejeca, Ian Pooley, Session Victim and M.A.N.D.Y.

He is currently working on a new series of high profile collaborative EPs that will be released in early/mid 2015.

♫♪♫♪ Niall Cleary - Dj Set
(Subject / Ireland)

Having been introduced to Dave Clarke's World Service 1 at the age of 18, Niall, who had previously taken an interest in electronic music through the likes of The Prodigy, Underworld & Orbital (to name a small few), focused his attention and energy solely on techno.
Since his first gig in the Pod alongside Irish techno stalwart, Donncha Costello, (D.E.A.F. 2009), Niall has built up a steady reputation around Dublin as a purveyor of the genre and has shared numerous line ups with some of the games leading figures such as Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, Marcell Dettmann, Shed, Surgeon, Marcel Fengler, Perc and many many more..

Adding to that he has played in some of Dublin's most renowned clubs including the Tripod / Pod, Andrews Lane Theatre, The Hub, Twisted Pepper and many more.
Outside of the booth he is working on production(s) with fellow Irish DJ / producer Rob Maguire as Applied Rhythm, as well as on his own productions.
