More: On Saturday 22nd January European house duo Junior Jack & Kid Crème return to London for an exclusive performance at Turnmills. After a stunning globetrotting summer which has seen them rock clubbing hotspots like Ibiza to the USA, via all the world’s coolest dancefloors, this date will mark JJ & KC’s first UK appearance of 2005, on what is set to be another stunning year for the guys.

In fact, the year ended in spectacular fashion for Junior Jack as he scooped 2 Awards at the first ever House Music Awards for Artist of the Year and Album of the Year – ‘Trust It’. Junior Jack, otherwise known as Vito Lucente, was born in Italy but has been residing in Brussels ever since his parents moved to Belgium when he was a teenager. Vito first tasted success as Junior Jack with "My Feeling" on PIAS recordings back in 2000, but it was his next release, the classic bass-line monster “Thrill Me” in 2002 that secured his arrival on the world stage. With “Thrill Me”, Vito firmly established the distinctive sound of the irresistible pumping bassline that has become one of the Junior Jack trademarks, that we all know and love!! At the start of 2003, Vito topped the UK singles chart with “Make Luv”, a remake of Oliver Cheatham’s 1983 hit ‘Saturday Night’ released under the name Room 5 on his own label Noisetraxx. The single kept the No.1 position for 4 weeks - making it one of the most successful dance tracks ever in the UK. Back to Junior Jack now and the follow up to “Thrill Me” came in the shape of “E Samba” – the summer tune of 2003. “E Samba” was voted the summer anthem of 2003 by DJ Magazine at the Ibiza awards, where Junior Jack and Kid Crème also picked up the award of Best Newcomer DJ’s. Vito has since released “Da Hype” to further acclaim, followed by his debut artist album, “Trust It”… which as previously mentioned, won Best Artist Album at the House Music Awards.

Joining Junior Jack will be partner in crime Kid Crème. Born Nicholas Scaravilli to an Italian family in Brussels, Kid Crème spent his early years learning to spin Hip Hop and study music theory & classic piano (I bet he didn’t realize how handy this would later become later on in life??!!) It was whilst working as an assistant engineer at Let’s Go Studios that Kid Crème met Junior Jack and his mix of Boom on Drop Dead caught Boy George’s eye, before he went onto remix Junior Vasquez and Topazz. His first production under the name Kid Creme was “Austin's Groove”. Licensed it to Ink Records in the UK and Subliminal in the US, Eric Morillo then added a Shawnee Taylor vocal on the record and it blew up big time on dancefloor’s around the world. His follow up track “Hypnotising” was signed to Positiva and charted well in the UK charts, before Kid Crème remixed Shakedown’s “At Night” - his profile again soaring to new heights (Kylie personally asked him to remix her single Love At First Sight!!). On the DJing side of things, you can catch Kid Crème (and Junior Jack) spinning the house music they so love throughout the world’s biggest hotspots.

Completing this already massive main room line-up will be the Soul Avengerz (aka Paul Gardner & Wayne O'Connell). Both guys have been rocking the floor for well over 10 years now – Paul was former resident at the legendary Club 4 Life, and it’s only in recent years that the two have collaborated at production partners to great effect. Plus two of the UK’s hottest rising stars Shane Watcha and Brad 212 Finlay will be guiding the early part of the night with an eclectic mix of acidic-beats.

Room 2 will be getting rather dirty as the Filthy House Crew take over proceedings to celebrate their 7th Birthday. Raising the temperature will be Ben Dela Pena, Timo Garcia and Jay Good with East London crew Mulletover taking control of Room 3 courtesy of hot residents Geddes and Jafar, plus special guest DJ Courage.
