The new year heralds the dawn of a new era for SHIVA Lords of the Dance, as we set our sights on extending our reign and conquering the London dance scene! Yes, 2006 promises to be the start of an exciting new age for the SHIVA Lords as we get set to expand our horizons and explode the boundaries of your average club nights!
In just 6 months since the Creation of SHIVA Lords of the Dance, at the Electrowerkz, we now move on from our humble kingdom in Angel to the grandeur of The Factory in Vauxhall.
We bowed out of the Electrowerkz with an explosive night of
Celebration in December, that saw out 2005 with a bang that
reverberated the foundations of traditional club nights, and set the scene for 2006.
Feb 17th sees SHIVA Lords of the Dance in its new ‘avtaar’, heralding the dance revolution that is the EVOLUTION.
The growing empire of the SHIVA Lords now hosts 2 arenas in one of London’s hottest night clubs, The Factory, and in keeping with our tradition of encouraging new and unsung talent, features London’s hottest, up and coming, most versatile hard dance and funky house DJs.
Arena 1 continues the legend of hard dance techno trance that the SHIVA Lords are becoming famed for, with euphoric lifts, pulsating beats and banging tunes belted out by our Shiva residents, Wingnut, N.I.G.E and Zeebra Kid, along with guest DJs Danny Luu (123) and Mad Phil (Puzzle Project).
Arena 2 introduces a new dimension to our realm with funky house, old skool and breaks that promise to get the crowd vibin’, groovin’ and movin’! SHIVA welcomes notorious radio DJs Woodsie (105.6 Shockin fm) and Styla (91.8 Passion fm), the funky Ilana Belsky, Damion the musical omen, and our staunch favourite Glen Gavin, who transfers his unique bouncy style to a funky set.
Added attractions include the ear-busting EAW Avalon sound system, 3d full colour laser and Intelligent Lighting show, yrotechnics, snow & bubble machines, UV gallery, podium dancers and CD giveaways!
