So then… Santa’s preparing his sleigh, Rudolph’s putting in the hours on the treadmill and you’ve just snogged your boss at a company party - it can only mean one thing, Christmas is just around the corner, YAY!! To celebrate that fact, on FRIDAY 22ND DECEMBER, THE GALLERY present THE CHRISTMAS PARTY: PART 2, following the first instalment last week which witnessed show-stopping sets from Tall Paul, Fergie, Dave Seaman and Benny Benassi. If you thought that was a biggun’ just wait till you hear who’s playing this week!! For starters we invite Gallery legend JUDGE JULES to mix up a bit of Xmas sparkle. The Radio 1 man still remains one of dance music’s most important souls – backed up by his lofty position in the Top 20 of DJ Mag’s Top 100 Poll for something like the 80th year in a row!! The Judge certainly won’t budge. Next up is NICK WARREN a Hope Recordings Gallery resident and a pioneer of the electronic dance scene. From cult Global Underground compilations to mind-blowing sets all over the globe, Mr Warren really is one of the good guys. Joining these two Gallery veterans is a relatively newcomer to the gang – Dutch sensation SANDER VAN DOORN. We’ve been saying this guy is gonna be big ever since he first made his UK debut at the club back in 2004 and we’ve been proved right in our belief as Sander rocketed into the DJ Mag Top 100 at No.32. There hasn’t been a talent quite like him for years and it really won’t be long before Sander joins the likes of PVD, Tiesto, Armin and Ferry right at the very top – he’s that good. He’s also a Gallery resident too, which makes it even more special!! Fellow ressie GAVYN MYTCHEL also gets in on the act just in time in Christmas, whilst Brighton’s CIARAN MCCARTHY makes the short trip up from the South coast to warm things up.
Over in T2, The Gallery residents are at it again – only this time its STEVE LEE, who returns to host his monthly Balearic house crusade JOY. And who better to join him at the helm than Mr Ibiza himself, BRANDON BLOCK. Blocko is unquestionably one of the biggest party animals on the planet. The club scene is much healthier one with him doing what his does best and although he might not be one of the biggest current stars, his talent for dropping a great track in second to none. Go on Blocko!! MERRY F**KING CHRISTMAS!!
