Cubacheche – event organiser of Cuban music and dance events present ‘Baila Londres’ – the authentic Cuban dance party, a monthly event taking place at Charlie Wright’s near Old St.
Head down to this great venue, with friendly people, good vibes and true Cuban style party atmosphere where top DJs are on hand to deliver some of the best Cuban music available – old classics and brand new tunes straight from the streets of Havana to London!
The next party takes place 26th May with a triple act featuring three popular DJs on the Cuban scene. They’ll be lifting the rafters with a hell-raising selection of the hottest salsa, timba, bachata and more from regular DJ, Green Papi (Oriente Star Sound) plus the inimitable Sol y Rico!!
As the night creeps into the early hours we’ll be mixing it up a little with some funky stuff.
There’s always a dance class and this month ‘The Professor’ Ariel Rios Robert of the Cuban dance group, CubanaDanza, will be teaching Afro-Rumba applied to Rueda Casino. Come and learn some new moves from the brand new style in Cuba right now, where the rueda includes different types of Cuban dance influence including Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Rumba and Reggaeton.
Rueda lesson from 9.15 pm to 10.15 pm (All levels welcome)
Doors open 8.30 pm - DJ till 4 am
