Dress up, dress down, get up and dance over to Shoreditch. Party away on Payday and come celebrate with us as we pay homage to the Paradise Garage & Studio 54.
Groove to a soundtrack of NYC's finest club scene. We'll be injecting positive vibes, a feel good selection of boogie 'n' funk, soul 'n' disco and modern edits of household classics.

Your conductor for the evening will be Throwing Shade, a rising London-based producer, DJ and NTS Radio presenter. Hailed as "London's new alt-pop hope" by Dazed and Confused, Throwing Shade has received positive accolades from the likes of Mixmag, Dummy, Fact, The Guardian, NME and The Fader.
Commissioned by the Tate Gallery to write music for the Turner prize in 2014 Throwing Shade, aka Nabihah Iqbal, produces "cosmic r&b" and "digital soul". Performing on Radio 1 and charting in The Wire's top 10 electronic releases of 2014 Throwing Shade also has a huge passion for Disco music; just check out her Mixmag In The Lab mix. Flawless groove and sun-kissed disco rhythms... we can't wait to hear her set in the loft.

Right-hand-man and supporting conductor Funster is founder of "Chunk" at The Alibi in Dalston. The London-based up-start plays a bold style of music house, techno and disco. He's as comfortable playing sweat-soaked basements like XOYO and The Nest as he is strobe-lit big rooms at Zouk and Space Ibiza.
During festival months, you'll catch him at the likes of Snowboming, Secret Garden Party and Found. Outside the booth, he works as Mixmag's Digital Music Editor and hosts the Chunk show on Radar Radio.
On this very special trip catch him play a rare disco set and journey with the Bustin' Loose resident DJs as they inject the funk and drive the Express deep into the night.
