Resident at Tilt, and guest resident at HeatUK and Logic, Simon Rutherford joins us with his tech and psytrance sound. Influenced by such greats as John '00' Fleming, Marco V and Armin van Buuren, Simons tough trance sound makes him stand out as one to watch in 2005. Simon has played nearly every major trance event in the capital and can boast Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Sweden, Ibiza and Holland on his DJing passport.
We welcome Ian Cashman to the decks at becomeone for the first time. Ian's extensive DJing history includes several releases - three solo techno tunes and two progressive house collaborations with well respected producer Graham Camp on Automatic Records. 2004 was a superb year for Ian, with sets at WiLDCHiLD and Serious, and this year he has gigs at Trance Generation, Serious and Existence in Peterborough to look forward to - playing alongside Matt Hardwick and Judge Jules no less.
Fresh from his outstanding performance at The Gallery (warming up for James Zabiela no less) Tim Davison is back again this month with a 2 hour set to show you what he's made of. He's first tune is set to be released on Feed Me records at the end of March. Tim also has had one of his tunes remixed by Paul Rogers which is scheduled for release in June 2005.
becomeone resident Oliver Leighs plays an exclusive two hour special this month. Oliver has recently finished a tune with legend of trance Ian Betts, with remixing duties courtesy of Jon O Callaghan. "Shimmer" written under the guise of 'Alaya' is to be released soon on 6:30 Records. Mr Leighs is to play the closing set in the famous Turnmills main room for The Gallery on July 1st, and plays straight after becomeone at Tasty House of Fun for those of you that want another squeeze of Leighs.
